IT consulting
Systems, integrations, migrations and the unglamorous plumbing between tools you already pay for. We start by auditing what exists before recommending anything new.
Perch Consulting works with small businesses, nonprofits and enterprise teams on IT, AI and machine learning, product design, and the engineering that turns those into something real and running.
Where we're useful
Systems, integrations, migrations and the unglamorous plumbing between tools you already pay for. We start by auditing what exists before recommending anything new.
Where a model genuinely helps and where it is an expensive detour. Scoping, evaluation, and shipping the narrow version that works before the ambitious one that might.
Interfaces, flows and the decisions underneath them. Design far enough that the build is obvious, and no further.
We build. Working software, hosted and maintained, handed over with the keys — not a deck describing what someone else should make.
A conversation, then a short written read on the problem, the constraints and what we'd do first — enough for both of us to know whether we're the right fit.
Scope down to the version that solves the problem this quarter. You approve what's in it and when it lands before anyone writes code.
We ship it, host it if you want us to, and train whoever owns it next. Ongoing support is a choice, not a dependency.
When the same problem shows up across clients, we build it once properly and offer it as a product. Consulting work stays bespoke; these you can just buy.
A white-label fundraising platform for youth travel teams. Donation page, automatic Venmo reconciliation, tax receipts and a real ledger — with no per-donation fees.
Visit the product page →Most of our work isn't a product yet. If the problem is specific to your organization, we scope it and build it — same three steps, same handover.
Start a conversation →A problem becomes a product here once we've solved it by hand three times. Currently on the list: volunteer scheduling, grant reporting, and small-clinic intake.
Yes. We take on single-owner businesses and enterprise teams; the difference is scope, not process. If your problem is small enough to solve in a conversation, we'll just tell you how.
You do — code, data, accounts and domains. We hand over the keys at launch. Hosting and support are optional, never conditions of ownership.
We train whoever owns it next and stay available. Some clients keep us on a support retainer, others take it in-house on day one. Both are normal.
Often. We'll read the existing code and tell you honestly whether finishing it beats restarting — the answer is not always the one that gives us more to do.
Send a description of the problem through the form below. You'll get a written reply from a person, usually within a business day.
One reply, written by a person, usually within a business day. If it isn't work for us we'll say so and point you somewhere better.
